A public institution of higher education and also member of the UNA Europa Alliance, Complutense University of Madrid is among the most important in Spain. It provides a very complete cursus in Mediterranean archaeology, from Prehistory to historical periods and its Department of Archaeology of the Americas is internationally recognized.
Material culture, physical anthropology, and the environment are its major focus areas and dovetail perfectly with those of the EUR. Complutense’s Art History Department also offers a programme in Restoration-Conservation of Cultural Goods that will enable development of student and teacher mobilities in relation with our own CRBC (Conservation Restauration des Biens Culturels) master’s cursus.
